Tips/advice for aspiring players:
Skills development and overall Improvement stems from a solid, repeatable Pre-stroke Routine.  A good Instructor/Coach will identify and help you fix issues in your routine which, will improve your performance greatly.  

Best advice he received from someone:
League/Match Pool – Manage your emotions, “You can’t win if you can’t forget”. Unsuccessful Shots happen, learn to dismiss them before returning to the table and you’ll play better for it.

For Artistic Pool - Take detailed notes, keep them up-to-date and refer to them often.  It’s difficult to repeat a Trick Shot if you don’t know why it was successful previously.
